Analyse and visualise environmental risk

About

A software tool to assess and ensure acceptable environmental risk for offshore operations

The ERA Acute methodology was implemented as industry standard for environmental risk assessment (ERA) on the NCS in 2019. The service is a desktop software application developed to support performing environmental risk assessments based on this methodology.

The ERA Acute service provides visualisation of the results, such as maps, graphs and tables. The tool has applications for environmental risk management, such as a risk matrix and a comparison tool. The comparison tool can be used to support a spill impact mitigation analysis (SIMA) in order to evaluate the best response option to minimise impact of oil spills on the environment.
