Suppliers can promote their products and services.

Magnet JQS utilises UNSPSC, a globally recognized category standard, covering all types of product and service categories, allowing suppliers to be as detailed as possible in describing their products and services.

All companies registered can search and identify suppliers, sub-suppliers or business partners for their own procurement and business development needs.

Suppliers can be selected and compared using a wide range of available parameters.

Buyers can search, filter, and narrow down the number of relevant suppliers.

Buyers can ‘flag’ suppliers, allowing internal users to keep track of what flags have been set, why, and until when they are valid.

As a buyer, you are able to subscribe to changes to any supplier.

Suppliers’ financial key figures and ownership information are retrieved on a real-time basis from global business registers through Dun & Bradstreet and Bisnode Norge AS.

Magnet JQS has a modern user experience with cognitive search functionality and analytics available for reporting and analysis.

Magnet JQS is a service that supports qualification of suppliers. It manages supplier information and risk in the supply chain, and enables efficient purchasing in accordance with EU regulations, covering most procurement needs.

What is the cost of this service?

NOK 5.700 per year.

Do we need to be registered in Magnet JQS?

If you want to do business with the operators on the NCS, you should register your company and your services in Magnet JQS.

What category standard is used for products and services in Magnet JQS?

Magnet JQS has adapted the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) as a category standard for the registration of products and services.

Where is the financial key figures and ownership information retrieved from?

This information is retrieved on a real-time basis from global business registers through Dun & Bradstreet and Bisnode Norge AS.

Are there any requirements within the service?

You shall ensure that any and all information provided about your company is accurate, updated in a timely manner (at least once per year), and reviewed on a yearly basis (minimum).

What is the basis for the capability assessment in Magnet JQS?

The capability assessment in Magnet JQS is based on requirements in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the expectations defined in IOGP 510 Operating Management System Framework.

The answers provided in the Capability Assessment are visible for all users of the service.

How can we document our registration in Magnet JQS?

A Certificate of Registration is available once you have met the basic requirements within the service.

Please also note that there are typical screening requirements for API access requests. These are:

  • Requestor or requestor’s user organization has an active subscription in Magnet JQS (or Human Rights Assessment Service “HuRi”)
  • Requestor is able to provide a reasonable justification for the intended use of the API
