At the request of the Ministry of Energy, Offshore Norge has established the Guide to Petroleum Regulations. The service is developed by Offshore Norge and is updated when necessary. All rights to the base belong to Offshore Norge, which owns the content of the guide and the web solution.

The guide provides an overview of legal rules, regulations, guidelines and licensing and contractual documents relating to the Ministry of Energy’s administrative area. Health, environmental and safety-related rules and guidelines, as well as tax, are not included in the base.

How often is the guide updated?

The guide is updated twice a year, early summer and before end of year.
